There is a massive viral investigation going on to find out what happened to19 year old Chicago teen Kenneka Jenkins after her body was found in a freezer.

Here’s What You Need To Know:

• Tereasa Martin (Kennekas Mother) said she headed to the hotel around 5 a.m. Saturday to try to find her daughter. Hotel staff told her they needed a missing persons report from police before they could start reviewing surveillance video of the premises.
  
• Kenneka’s Mother reported her missing Sunday night, September 10th, 2017 after police told her to wait a few hours before filing report (In Chicago there is no legal wait time to file missing persons report so already this is weird)
  
• Authorities notified the hotel about the missing teen around 1:15 p.m. Saturday. The 11-hour search for Jenkins included all public areas and the ninth floor, where she was last seen by witnesses
• After knocking on every door they came upon looking for Kenneka, Hotel called police on Tereasa and when police arrived thy agreed to look at footage again
• Finally Police say they saw Kenneka in hotel video “staggering drunk and alone inside hotel kitchen”
• Tereasa says freezer she supposedly walked into are double steel doors she couldn’t possibly open on her own (CLICK LINK FOR DEMONSTRATION) especially if she was “staggering drunk” as Police + friends swear she was
• The friends told Mom and police the three girls were getting set to leave the party but realized Jenkins had left her phone and car keys back in the room (but Kenneka was filmed with phone in hand). Jenkins stayed in the hallway while the friends said they retrieved her stuff. When they got back to the hall she was gone. But Martin said she questioned the friends’ accounts, saying their “stories changed over and over.”
• Initially, one user had offered comments on the incident, speculating that it was Jenkins’ friends who were responsible for her murder and referencing a video one of her friends, Monifa Sheltons (WHO WORKS AT THE HOTEL), posted on Facebook that seems to have been taken during the party Jenkins was at.
• In the video you can hear someone clearly say “Help Me” as well as someone referencing “rape” and “$200″ starting an online frenzy that perhaps her friends had purposely set her up to get raped for money.
• Police wouldn’t show hotel footage to family but showed it to who they said was an “activist” and had the activist report back to the family (which is fucking ludicrous) Activist said he saw video of Kenneka walk in freezer but Family was still extremely skeptical and asked for police to release footage
• Police finally decide to release footage but it’s only a few short clips, witch hours of footage missing, some featuring what looks like a man stalking her, but NONE SHOW HER WALKING INTO FREEZER.
